Iguaninja and Pals is developed and operated by Bearded Eye (“Iguaninja and Pals,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate, support, secure, and improve the game, and to support the advertising that helps keep it free to play.
Information we may collect
Depending on the features available in the version you use, we may collect:
- Gameplay progress, achievements, settings, and preferences.
- Basic device and app information, such as device type, operating system, language, region, and app version.
- Advertising identifiers, such as Apple's IDFA or the Google Advertising ID, along with approximate (IP-based) location and ad interaction data, used to serve and measure ads.
- Crash reports, error logs, and performance diagnostics made available through Apple, Google, or the operating system.
- Information you voluntarily provide when contacting us for support.
- Account or profile information only if account-based features are introduced and you choose to use them.
How we use information
We may use information to:
- Operate and maintain the game.
- Save or restore gameplay progress where supported.
- Display, personalize, deliver, and measure advertising, and limit how often you see the same ad.
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
- Improve gameplay, stability, accessibility, and compatibility.
- Respond to support requests.
- Protect the game and players from misuse, fraud, or security threats.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Platform services
Iguaninja and Pals may interact with services provided by Apple or Google, such as the App Store, Google Play, Game Center, platform-based cloud storage, purchases, achievements, or other operating-system features. Those companies may process information under their own privacy policies and account settings.
Purchases
If Iguaninja and Pals offers in-app purchases, payments are processed by Apple, Google, or the applicable platform provider. We do not receive or store your full payment-card information.
Advertising
Iguaninja and Pals may use third-party advertising networks and analytics partners to display ads and measure how they perform. These partners may collect advertising identifiers, IP address, general device information, and ad interaction data, and may use this information to serve ads that are relevant to you across apps and websites.
On iOS, apps must request your permission before using the IDFA for tracking under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You'll see this prompt the first time it's relevant, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or limit your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's Google Settings under Ads.
Where required by law, we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), and we present a consent option to players in regions such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland before using non-essential advertising or analytics technologies.
Sale and sharing of personal information
Some privacy laws treat the use of advertising identifiers by ad partners as a "sale" or "share" of personal information, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out of this use at any time through your device's ad-tracking settings described above, through any in-app or consent-banner controls we provide, or by visiting our Privacy Choices page. We do not sell or share personal information for any purpose beyond operating the advertising described in this policy.
Sharing of information
We may share limited information only when reasonably necessary:
- With advertising networks and analytics partners that help us display ads and measure the game's performance.
- With platform providers or service providers that help us operate or support the game.
- To comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of our players, our services, or the public.
- As part of a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating the game, serving and measuring advertising, resolving support issues, maintaining security, and complying with legal obligations.
Children's privacy
Iguaninja and Pals is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law, and we do not knowingly serve personalized advertising to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, contact us and we will review and delete it where required.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information associated with you. You may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, visit our Privacy Choices page or email zach@beardedeye.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International users
Iguaninja and Pals may be available in multiple countries. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our platform providers, advertising partners, or service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, our practices, our advertising partners, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
